Concrete Colors of Texas Integral color is a blend of pure synthetic iron oxides, water-reducing admixture, and dispersing agents specifically formulated for each addition to ready mixed concrete. Integrally colored concrete is colored all the way through. The entire batch of concrete is colored, either at the concrete plant, or with color bags added at the jobsite. In different geographical areas, installed color selection can change because of the variable color drifts in gray Portland as it relates to specific suppliers. Custom colors are available with no minimums or maximums to the ready mixed producers, distributor, or end user. When placing and finishing this product, installation procedures should follow ACI recommended concreting practices for the applicable ambient temperatures of hot and cold weather.
